We hope you all managed to have a good, though very different Christmas break and are all staying healthy. It has been quite an unsettling start to the term with the arrival of another lockdown. But hopefully we can have some fun and a good term whether that is at school or through live lessons and activities sent home.
This term our topic is ‘Festifeel’ with a focus on the sensory side of festivals. We will be learning about the Hindu festival of Makara Sankranti and Chinese New Year. We will also be immersing ourselves in the food, music and fun of music festivals. Our main focus will continue to ensure the term is full of fun and your child remains happy and safe.
This term I will be phoning and checking in with you each Wednesday. Please continue to use the home-school diary or email me with any questions and updates. If you need to speak to me please do phone me on my mobile on a Wednesday or phone the school office.
Please remember that if your child is learning from home or for Wednesday’s learning there are lots of activity ideas to enjoy on our School Website and some videos on Claremont’s YouTube channel or our Class YouTube Channel
We will continue to communicate with our therapists through email and video calls where possible and will have some pre-arranged visits.
