Term 6 Theme
This term we are starting a new topic all about music and sound called ‘Classtonbury’. Our focus is going to be on creating sounds using our voices, bodies and instruments and learning about how we can make sound change through volume, pitch and tempo.

In English we are going to be working on some communicating and listening activities and giving lots of opinions. We are also going to learn about environmental sounds and start to match these with symbols.
In Maths we will be revisiting money, shape and position.

In our PE lessons we will be doing multisports with the Bristol Bears and revisiting some of our favourite activities from across the year. We will also continue our own PE sessions in the hall where we work on our gross motor skills by climbing and jumping and riding scooters and trikes.
This term our off site activity will be cycling at the Bristol Cycling Centre, These sessions will take place on Thursday afternoons starting on Thursday 11th June.

We have been working to organise a range of off site activities for the students. This term we will be revisiting Supersense which is a giant sensory room at Imperial Sports Ground on Tuesday afternoons.
RSE
In our RSE this term’s topic is, Keeping Safe in the Community. We will be thinking about the people who keep us safe at home, in school and out in the community.
